General Information
Course prices as listed are in Canadian dollars and do not include GST (goods & services tax) unless stipulated otherwise. They do not include meals, accommodation or transportation unless noted. (Reduced rates are available only for members of clubs with a reciprocal agreement. Call or email for special club price list.)
Ropes, harnesses, helmets, crampons, ice axes and technical gear are provided. Proper climbing shoes, boots, skis and ski boots are not provided. Participants are responsible for their own food, proper clothing and accommodation. Course details will be provided when you sign up. You must be in good physical condition and have proper clothing for participating in outdoor activities in foul mountain weather. The course instructors reserve the right to deny participation to anyone who is unfit, ill prepared or in any way a detriment to group safety. You will be required to complete a medical form and waiver before attending any course.
In order to book a spot on a climbing, avalanche or ski course, you must pay the course fee in full in advance. For booking conditions for WEC courses, view the WEC course application page. Climbing course applications and related forms can be obtained online or send email to
. Please view our Booking and Cancellation Policies page before sending in your course applications. Some courses book rapidly, so do not wait until the last minute to book.
IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT WAIVERS: Our insurer requires that we have a two part process for using and administering waivers. If you sign up by mail or email you must included a signed and witnessed waiver as part of your application for all courses. You will also be required to sign a second full colour paper copy of the waiver in the presence of one of our staff members. There are no exceptions.
